Chicago Fitness Experts Launch SALT

Chicagoans can finally end their streak of fitness one-night-stands as industry experts Brett and Tami Conway, Leanne Kurtzweil and Katy Kerr announce SALT, a one-stop shop boutique concept that will provide multiple essential fitness disciplines under one roof at three locations in and around Chicago.
SALT offers 3 distinct class categories so that participants can completely customize their essential fitness experience.
“Each class is totally different and taught to fun, motivational music to get participants through the tough challenges and inspire people to achieve their greatest capabilities. Our mission is to bring the essentials of fitness into every class to help inspire our clients to build a stronger, heather, happier version of themselves,” says Leanne Kurtzweil. “Our unique and dynamic variety of classes will help everyone who comes through our doors.”
BARRE infuses the essential elements of fitness to strengthen and stretch the full body. Expert instructors target all muscle groups with focused core, arm, thigh and gluteal “blocks” of moves. Each block is brought together with a unique and proven approach to barre.
“For those who have taken barre class for years, this will be a new experience. We are offering a totally new formula to make it more dynamic and fun and to provide better results,” says Conway. “No two classes are alike but an optimal workout is ensured. Muscles will constantly be shocked and challenged so participants will be strengthened and toned.”
The class incorporates high repetition through small and large of movements the body, hand weights, resistance bands and other props to help take the practice to the next level.
Barre Sweat is a dynamic barre class that layers short bursts of big movements into the Barre class. Barre Sweat challenges clients to lift their heart rates and burn calories while getting the benefits of barre. Participants work from the inside out to heat the body for maximum results.
The class incorporates high repetition through small and large of motion, along with hand weights, resistance bands and other props to help you take practice to the next level.
HIIT incorporates the best of all worlds. A dynamic flow warm up helps to open and heat the body. Five interval sequences follow; each designed to increase the heart rate, calorie burn and strength. Expert instructors will offer a variety of intensities for each move so that clients can choose the intensity of each class and each interval.
The class incorporates high repetition through large of motion, along with hand weights, resistance bands and other props to help you take the practice to the next level. This class is all about moving and sweating to improve endurance in just 45- minutes.
CYCLE - This motivational beat-driven cycle class taught by inspired and expert instructors. Cycle is taught in a dark room with a lighted accent wall where a motivational teacher will move participants to the beat while pushing them over the highest hills an at their fastest paces. To help achieve optimal cardiovascular results and calorie burn, Cycle does not incorporate weights.
